CANCELLATION POLICY
- 7 - 3 days before the start of the excursion: 50% of the amount paid will be charged.
- 2 - 1 day before the start of the excursion: penalty of 80% of the amount paid.
- No show or cancellation 24 hours before the start of the tour: 100% of the amount paid.
"Havana Campo - The unknown West" Bike Tour
Description
Havana, is a city without equal, full of charm and it makes all those who visit it fall in love. To visit Havana is to feel that mixture of the old with the new, is to discover its history of several centuries, is to feel the joy, to know the customs and traditions of the Cubans, is without a doubt a great experience.
Today we will embark on an e-bike trip, from the bustling metropolis to the countryside. This part of Havana is beyond the classic tourist routes and, therefore, is very original and attractive. The route puts us in direct contact with the way of life in the western regions of the city.
Details of the route
- Departure from the meeting point.
- Departure at 9:00 am at the lodging towards the west of Havana.
- We will cross Miramar to visit the KCHO Museum, a social project sponsored by Google.
- We will continue our journey and on the way we will pass through the distribution of the Embassies until we reach Jaimanitas, during this journey we will see the Conventions Palace and Club Havana.
- Arrival to Fusterlandia, an architectural dream of José Antonio Rodríguez Fuster, a kind of Caribbean "Guell Park" in Havana.
- We continue our journey through Jaimanitas, in the direction of the Hemingway Marina, the largest yacht facility in Cuba, named after the American writer Ernest Hemingway.
- We continue in the direction of Baracoa, during the trip we will be able to contemplate small beaches and the Latin American School of Medicine.
- We arrive at Baracoa, a fishing village, where we will enjoy a spectacular meal at one of our favorite restaurants from Thursday to Sunday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we will have lunch and rest in an agro-ecological farm, including a tour of the place.
- Free time in the village, with the opportunity to swim in its beaches and go snorkeling.
- At the end of the tour we will return, making a brief stop at Hemingway Bar, located in the Marina.
- At the end, we return to the meeting point.

- Technical assistance: The circuit will have technical assistance throughout the tour as well as trained personnel to attend to any eventuality that occurs during the course.

Important Notes:
- You should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
- At the meeting point, we will give a brief introduction to the electric bicycles, the settings of the clients' bicycles at each individual height and some general information about the roads and traffic regulations in Cuba.
- All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.
- The program is subject to change. Visits to museums depend on opening hours. Modifications/changes possible, depending on the opening hours of the museums.
- The guest should have a good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
- Guests should be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers.
- There is no minimum age for children, only a minimum height of 1.40 m
- For the bikers of the future we have trailer seats/trolleys. Maximum weight: 25 kg. The number of seats/trolleys is limited and will always be "on request".
- Sex of the person: female/male (including information, if any, about any special characteristics regarding the person's height, weight, or any disabilities).
TIPS: - It is recommended to wear light clothing, sneakers, closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and appropriate for walking outdoors, sun protection, sunglasses. Rain can be expected at any time.
