It is part of Colorados Archipelago and has a tourist facility called Hotel Cayo Levisa. The key’s northern coast is a beautiful beach of white, thin sand about 4 km. long, running along a strip of pine forests. The south side of the key is formed by a totally inaccessible mangrove forest. This key is a haven for pelicans and other large birds.
