Cayo Levisa, Pinar del Río

Cayo Levisa beach panoramic view - Cayo Levisa, Pinar del Río

Cayo Levisa is a small grove of 250 acres (2.5 sq. km.) located about 3 km. from the northern coast of Cuba, in the province of Pinar del Río. It is part of Colorados Archipelago and has a tourist facility called Hotel Cayo Levisa. The key’s northern coast is a beautiful beach of white, thin sand about 4 km. long, running along a strip of pine forests. The south side of the key is formed by a totally inaccessible mangrove forest. This key is a haven for pelicans and other large birds. So if you are into bird watching activities, then book an eco-travel tour to this fantastic piece of land.
