Description

Legendarios del Guajirito is a socio-cultural project that transcends the history of traditional Cuban music. It is the legacy of the Buena Vista Social Club and of other leading musical groups, which have placed the values of our national culture at the highest level.

It has great musicians and singers, deserving of 14 Grammy nominations, 7 Grammy awards, 4 Latin Grammy awards, 2 Congo de Oro awards in Barranquilla, 1 Campana de Oro award in Cali Colombia and 2 distinctions for the national culture of Cuba. Our roots come from the Buena Vista Social Club, Afro-Cuban All Stars, Cubanismo, Bar Buena Vista, Orquesta Aragón and the Cabarets Tropicana and Parisién.
