In the heart of the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, just 45 minutes from Havana, is located the Moka Hotel, the perfect place for nature lovers, ecotourism and to know closely the daily life of the Cuban rural population. The Hotel is located in the community Las Terrazas, on a soft hill of the San Juan valley, from where the visitor can enjoy the picturesque landscape, surrounded by forest.

The authentic community Las Terrazas, grew very close to the ruins of the French coffee plantations that initiated the splendor of the region in the 19th century and today it is distinguished by its architecture arranged according to the natural characteristics of the landscape. The inhabitants of Las Terrazas promote a project of sustainable rural economy, in this way tourism is integrated in absolute harmony with nature.

Staying at Hotel Moka becomes a unique experience for the visitor, with many options such as hiking, boat trips, watching native birds and bathing in delicious rivers of calm and transparent waters. The experience of the Canopy Tour, will allow you to admire with the aerial view of the natural landscape. You will also get to know the variety of the Soroa Orchidarium and travel through time in a visit to the old French coffee plantations of the 19th century.
