The name of this location, Guajimico means in the language language of the aborigines ¨The place for fishes¨ and it describes one of its main attractions: the submarine fauna living in a spectacular bottom that surpasses the expectations of the most prolific imagination of diving and nature lovers. Guajimico is located on the South Center seaside of the Island, a few meters away from the impressive Guamuhaya massif, one of the most complete ecosystems of the Cuban nature.
Villa Guajimico counts with all the comfort facilities for a 3 star class stay. Its huts have at design that melt with the environment, and they interact with a nature of life and vegetation. In the villa, there is an international diving center. There courses for professionals and amateurs are available. In addiction, they organize programs for the practice of this exigent sport, as well as snorkeling.
From Guajimico is possible to rent implements to practice nautical sport such as Kayak, Catamaran and others, allowing the visitor to enjoy fully the maritime life that it offers. In addiction, you can explore a near cave known as Cueva de la Virgen (Virgin Cavern), a place full of as stories and legends from pirates and corsairs.
