day 1 HAVANA.
Preparation and indications for the beginning of the tour, one day before we start our trip
- Accommodation in a cozy private house which has always been previously checked.
- Pick up at 9:00 am and presentation of the tour guide, this will be recognizable by the logo "Cubyke" that is present on your bike, shirt or cap.
- Brief introduction about the correct use of the bikes and their individual adjustment, according to your own physical characteristics.
- Explanation about the state of the streets and information about the functioning of the Cuban road traffic.
day 2 HAVANA.
A day in Havana
- This tour includes the highlights of the Cuban capital, as well as other less known wonders.
- We begin our tour of Old Havana.
- In transit we will pass through the Callejón de Hamel, a place that smells, sounds, tastes and looks like Afro-Cuban culture.
- We will stop at La Guarida restaurant, one of the most recognized in Havana, the location for the filming of the famous Cuban movie Strawberry and Chocolate, nominated for an Oscar (1993)
- We continue the tour around the Capitol, the Gran Teatro de La Habana and the Central Park.
- Arrival to Old Havana, tour of the Casa del Perfume and the Castillo de la Real Fuerza.
- At some points we will walk, together with our bikes, through some historical places in this area of the city of special relevance, due to the existence of narrow alleys, generally very crowded.
- We will visit the 4 most important squares of the historical center: Plaza Vieja, Plaza de San Francisco de Asís, Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza de Armas.
- We continue the tour by the Paseo del Prado.
- Lunch in the area
- We will go along the Malecón, and at the height of the impressive Hotel Nacional de Cuba, we will enter the elegant residential neighborhood of Vedado, with its very varied architecture.
- We will pedal along the busy 23rd street, up to Paseo Avenue, to reach the Plaza de la Revolución, the scene of numerous events that have marked milestones in Cuban history.
- On our way back to the meeting point of the trip, we will stop for the last time to drink something, perhaps a cocktail, a beer or a water, while we exchange about the impressions obtained during this day.
day 3 HAVANA - PINAR DEL RIO - VIÑALES
Pinar del Río - Viñales
- Breakfast
- Departure 8:00 am to Pinar del Río, the most western city of Cuba.
- We unload the bikes from the trailer, the luggage stays in the car and continues to Viñales.
- We will go through small villages and serpentine roads, this route is approximately 30 km long.
- When we arrive in Viñales, we will go to our place of accommodation.
- Dinner based on lobster, fish, pork or whatever you choose.
- Free night for your enjoyment.
- We will show you how to load your e-bike, so you can have it ready for the next day.
day 4 VIÑALES - HAVANA.
One day in Viñales
- Breakfast
- Tour with our e-bikes through the colorful Viñales Valley, declared by UNESCO in 1999, World Heritage Site, in the category of Cultural Landscape.
- During the tour we will be able to appreciate the daily life of the Cubans who live there, their habits and customs.
- Visit to a tobacco farm, in this place we will receive a detailed explanation and a first hand demonstration of the process of cultivation of tobacco.
- Lunch in the area, the exact place where we will have lunch will always depend on our speed, the condition of the participants and the usable roads, but all the restaurants have an excellent quality and we will receive a warm welcome.
- Visit to the Cave of Jose Miguel, where formerly escaped slaves tried to find a home and where today, on weekends, the Cave becomes a nightclub for the enjoyment of locals and visitors.
- We continue the tour to the Prehistoric Mural, one of the largest open-air frescoes on the planet, 120 meters high and 160 meters wide. This mural shows the evolution of life in a natural sense in Cuba. It is located on a vertical wall painted on the mogote. The mural represents the biological past of the region, considered one of the oldest lands in the Caribbean. Along with the human figures, which evoke the natives of this area of the archipelago.
- Time for a cocktail while we exchange the impressions of the day.
- After touring the mogotes and appreciating the beauties of the valley, we will return to our accommodation in Havana.
day 5 HAVANA - PLAYAS DEL ESTE - CIENFUEGOS
Tropical beaches, the Caribbean sun and the warm waters of the sea are waiting for us
- Departure at 9:00 am at the lodging towards the East Beaches of the city, they are the group of beaches that have different names, but could be considered as one called Blue Circuit.
- We will take the boat (ferry) to cross to the other side of the Bay, because it is not allowed to pass through the tunnel of bicycles or motorcycles.
- From the town of Regla we will continue our journey towards the Eastern Beaches, passing through picturesque country villages, full of friendly and happy people.
- Depending on the speed at which we travel, we will decide whether to take a bath in Santa Maria del Mar or Guanabo.
- Free time to enjoy the beach.
- For lunch, you can enjoy seafood or typical Cuban food.
- At the end we will go back to Havana, passing through Tarará, Alamar, Cojímar and Casablanca.
- In the evening, transportation will be available to take us to Cienfuegos where we will spend the night.
- Free night for your enjoyment.
day 6 CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD
One day in Cienfuegos
- Breakfast
- Departure to tour the beautiful city of Cienfuegos, the only city in the country with French influence, founded in 1819, a city of parks, theaters, churches, a beautiful Paseo del Prado and a flourishing culture you can also enjoy the beauty of the sea and nature surrounding the city.
- We begin the tour by the gigantic bay of Cienfuegos, guarded by the Cienfuegueguero boardwalk, one of the most beautiful in Cuba.
- We will pass by the Marina and continue towards La Punta, from there we will be able to admire the extension of the bay and enjoy our first refreshing drink.
- On the way we will pass through the alleys on the outskirts of the city, where we will come into contact with the simple way of life of the Cuban people in this magnificent city.
- We will visit the "Cementerio La Reina", one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Cuba.
- We continue in the direction of the old Plaza de Armas. Here we will see the only triumphal arch erected in Cuba, built in 1902 by the Spanish, in honor of the Independence.
- Touring Marti Park, this is one of the greatest symbols of culture and identity of the Cienfuegos. It was proclaimed National Monument on November 20, 1982 and declared by UNESCO, Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is considered a must visit place in the city. Around it there are several impressive buildings that reflect ancient times of a very rich metropolis.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- At the end we will visit the National Naval Historical Museum, where the maritime history of Cuba awaits us, and the Park of the Locomotives, used during the sugar cane boom.
- We return to our starting point by visiting some residential areas, typical of this city.
- Time to taste a beer, a cocktail or a soft drink, while we exchange our impressions and experiences.
- In the late afternoon we will head along the coast to Trinidad, to reach our next stop.
- Dinner and overnight in Trinidad

day 7 CASILDA - PLAYA ANCON - TRINIDAD
A day in Trinidad
- Breakfast
- Departure from Casilsa to tour the most beautiful colonial city in Cuba, one of the most beautiful, historic and best preserved, was one of the first villages founded by the Spanish and declared by UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Its cobblestone streets full of tradition and history will make you feel and live the experience of being in a City stopped by time full of heritage, historical and cultural values that reveal times, customs and traditions.
- We ride our electric bicycles around the city.
- We pass by Playa Ancon and Playa La Boca, a small fishing port with small boats for fishing barracudas, snapper, tuna and marlin.
- We cycle along the Caribbean Sea and Casilda Bay, where, depending on the season and water level, many water birds nest.
- Our tour takes us to the port of Trinidad, where in 1518, Hernan Cortes began his expedition to Mexico
- After a short walk around the cruise ship dock, we can refresh ourselves in an open-air bar and learn more about the current conditions of Cuban life.
- We continue with the visit to the Valley of Sugar Mills, the true source of the heritage of the old Cuban city of Trinidad, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988. Located between the mountains and the sea, it is a true archaeological monument to the Cuban sugar industry.
- Departure to the historical center of the city of Trinidad.
- Touring the Plaza Mayor, surrounded by remarkable residences, this square has reached the present time as it was configured in the middle of the 19th century, when the recreational park was inaugurated (1856 - 1857), the conservation of the urban environment endorses the sense of time, place and authenticity of such a remarkable site.
- Visit to the bar La Chanchánchara, where we will taste the typical drink of the place based on rum and honey, while our lunch is being prepared we will enjoy live traditional music.
- At the end we will continue our tour through the cobblestone streets of the city, we will visit the old train station with some magnificent steam locomotives and perhaps a small lesson on how to use them.
- Return to our starting point.
- In the evening, free time where we can drink together some farewell beers, a soft drink or a typical local cocktail, talking about the impressions of the week and exchanging photos, of our tours.
day 8 TRINIDAD - HAVANA
Last day
- Breakfast.
- Return to Havana, or perhaps you have planned an extension to your vacation somewhere in Cuba and travel from Trinidad directly to your next destination.
