When you arrive you are surrounded by evergreen forests, rivers and waterfalls of crystalline waters, fresh breezes and singing birds, a rural environment that invites you to enjoy nature tourism.

All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The net prices of the packages are expressed in USD per pax.
It is not allowed to transport people who are not part of the group on the bikes or on the accompanying buses.
Our prices do NOT include supplements for special Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve dinners. Reservations that include any of the above dates are subject to hotel availability until confirmation from the supplier.
For private tours during the week, preliminary meeting, departure and return times can be arranged in advance. For an additional fee we can arrange for you to be picked up from your hotel or home and taken to the meeting point.
Program subject to availability. Museums and restaurants (according to the program) may be modified, depending on opening and closing times and availability.

MANDATORY INFORMATION:

Sex: female / male (including information, if any, about any special characteristics regarding the person's height, weight or any disability)
Children: There is no minimum age, only a minimum "height" of 1.40 m and a maximum body weight of 25 kg.
Trailers / child seats: For the youngest children we have trailer / car type seats on request.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Recommended clothing and accessories: Closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and suitable for walking outdoors, sunglasses, sunscreen, depending on the time of day, swimming suit and towel. We recommend the use of light but strong clothing. They should have a raincoat for any eventuality. Repellent. There may be some mosquitoes in the places we will visit.
We may need a small backpack outside for personal belongings.
In Cuba we have a very extended medical assistance, with clinics in the most remote areas of the country. However, if you suffer from a chronic disease or allergy, etc., it will not be useless to bring your personal first aid kit or medicines, especially when you are far from the big cities.

day 1 HAVANA.

Preparation and indications for the beginning of the tour, one day before we start our trip

Accommodation in a cozy private house which has always been previously checked.
Pick up at 8:00 am and presentation of the tour guide, this will be recognizable by the logo "Cubyke" that is present on your bike, shirt or cap.
Brief introduction about the correct use of the bikes and their individual adjustment, according to your own physical characteristics.
Explanation about the state of the streets and information about the functioning of the Cuban road traffic.

Important

During the whole tour you will have 5 nights in at least 4 different accommodations, so we ask you to bring adequate luggage. We will take care of transporting your luggage, so please pack only what is necessary for your daily trips as these cannot be taken on the e-bikes.

day 2 HAVANA - LAS TERRAZAS

Las Terrazas

Departure from La Habana towards Las Terrazas Tourist Complex, a rural experience of sustainable development located within the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, belonging to the Municipality of Artemisa.
We will travel along the entire northern coast of Artemisa.
In transit we will pass through the airport of Baracoa, Mariel town, with its special development zone, where we will see from afar the largest container port in the Caribbean.
Lunch time. As a precaution, during this time, we will recharge our batteries, because the energy consumption can be quite high, however we always have spare batteries available.
After lunch we will continue to Cabañas and from there, on rural roads we will continue to San Juan, until we reach Las Terrazas. The route becomes more demanding and always mountainous.
It is estimated that we will arrive to our lodging in the afternoon-night, located in the middle of a natural park, surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, lakes, small mountains and a fascinating flora and fauna.

day 3 LAS TERRAZAS - SOROA - LAS TERRAZAS

Soroa - Las Terrazas

Departure to Soroa at 9:00 am. Natural place of great beauty and variety, considered a Biosphere Reserve in the west of Cuba. Visitors from all over the world come to this wonderful place to admire and enjoy the beautiful work that nature created in this abrupt place, surrounded by mountains and rivers.
We will cross the natural park of Las Terrazas and travel at a certain altitude, perhaps even having to push our bikes a little, despite the electric impulse they have.
We will spend the whole day in the oldest biosphere reserve in Cuba. See beautiful views in these places. There are 70 different species of birds in the park, more than 850 species of plants and 11% of the plants and 50% of the animals are found only in this region.
If you wish you can enjoy the Canopy, where thousands of people from Cuba and the world have seen from the heights, the landscape of the community Las Terrazas.
Visit a small, but very old, coffee plantation, which is located in the region.

day 4 LAS TERRAZAS - ARTEMISA

Artemisa

Departure at 09:00 am to Artemisa, capital of the municipality of the same name.
We will ride through remote places and apparently forgotten villages, but full of friendly and hospitable people. We will ride through places that are hardly mentioned in any travel guide, because they are practically not visited by the classic tourist, but that have a very particular charm.
We will pass through the villages of Cayajabos, Cuatro Caminos, La Granada, until we finally arrive in Artemisa.

day 5 ARTEMISA - HAVANA

Return to Havana

We will travel inland to Havana.
We will visit places like Las Cañas, Los Naranjos Sur, Rancho Grande, Cayo La Rosa, Ben Tre Community and Lazo de la Vega.
During the journey we will see forgotten sugar mills, symbols of a time when the sugar industry was the most important line of the Cuban economy.
We will taste typical Cuban food that some people sell us on the road, for this you need to have National Currency.
We follow the road until we reach the city limits in direction to our last lodging in the capital.
Until here our adventure, if the group wishes it can be additionally organized (not included in the price of the tour) a dinner to exchange opinions and experiences during our tours.
If you wish, we can arrange an optional transport to take you to the international airport or we can also organize an individual transport to your next lodging place (price not included).
