day 1 HAVANA.
** ARRIVAL IN HAVANA**
- Arrival in Havana, capital of the Republic of Cuba, its largest city, the main port, its economic and cultural center and its main tourist pole. Relax and enjoy your first night in Havana.
- Transfer of the group from the José Martí International Airport to the place of accommodation.
- You will stay in a family B&B; the perfect opportunity to experience a Cuban home.
- Enjoy your first cocktail and dinner in one of the private restaurants located in Havana, where you can experience delicious Cuban food and excellent service.
day 2 HAVANA.
DAY TRIP TO LAS TERRAZAS
- Breakfast.
- Tour with our guide through modern and old Havana, in the capital of Cuba life goes by between music, tradition, culture, national monuments and historical attractions of incalculable value.
- We will explore Old Havana on foot, walk through its cobbled streets and visit its squares and places of interest.
- We will make a stop for lunch.
- We will visit several local businessmen: Clandestina, an innovative proposal of quality products that revolve around 99% Cuban design concepts.
- We continue to the Museum of Fine Arts, where we will explore the best of contemporary Cuban art with the help of a local expert.
- The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for your enjoyment.
- If you wish you can have dinner at the lodging house or at a restaurant in the historical center. (Dinner not included in the price of the tour).
day 3 HAVANA - LAS TERRAZAS
HAVANA CITY TOUR
- Breakfast.
- Departure to the Community of Las Terrazas, a territory with numerous landscape values, mountain chains and narrow valleys refreshed by rivers and streams with beautiful waterfalls that mix with profuse evergreen forests with characteristics similar to tropical forests. Enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of Havana in this peaceful mountain refuge.
- Upon arrival, we visit the small community and then head to the Canopy station where thousands of people from Cuba and the world have seen from the heights, the beautiful landscape of the community. An exciting way to see the beauty of the lush landscape.
- We continue to the San Juan River for a refreshing drink in its crystal clear waters.
- Lunch at a restaurant on the river bank where we will enjoy a Cuban Creole lunch.
- Return to Havana.
- Later we will leave for Old Havana to learn how to make Cuba's iconic cocktails - the Mojito and Daiquiri.
- We will enjoy a tapas dinner to accompany the cocktails.
day 4 HAVANA.
Regla
- This route puts us in direct contact with the way of life in the regions on the other side of the Bay.
- We will take the local boat, (ferry) to cross to the other side of the Bay to Regla, an ultramarine town of Havana where you can breathe the Afro-Cuban from the pier, the Afro-Cuban religion and the old slave market.
- Visit the church of Nuestra Señora de Regla, a modest church on the eastern shore of Havana's port that houses the Santísima Virgen de Regla, highly revered by Cubans.
- We continue the tour to the local museum where we are introduced to some of the rhythms and songs associated with Santeria.
- To conclude this trip we will meet the Hip Hop group Obsesión, an exponent of the contemporary music scene in Cuba.
- We return to La Habana Vieja, have a bite to eat and have the rest of the time free for your enjoyment.
day 5 HAVANA.
AN EXPLORATION OF CUBA’S MUSIC, DANCE AND SOCIAL ENTERPRISE SCENE
- We will start today's tour a little later.
- Lunch in a magnificent cafe run by photojournalists.
- Visit to the music recording studio (BandEra), a collectively managed record label that produces, promotes and distributes alternative music made in Cuba.
- Stay at a second-hand bookstore (Cuba Libro), a cooperative run by a journalist who has created a public space to read, drink good coffee, and collaborate on creative projects.
- In the afternoon we head to the Villa Lola dance studios for a salsa class with our local dance partners.
- Dinner at a nearby pizza and pasta restaurant
- Afterwards we will go with the dancers to a dance studio in the city.
day 6 HAVANA.
EASTERN BEACHES
- Departure to Playas del Este, are the set of beaches that have different names, but could be considered as one called Blue Circuit.
- Enjoy a day of relaxation, enjoying the sun and cooling off in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. We offer you a picnic and some bottles of Havana Club.
- At the end of the afternoon we will go back to Havana to our lodging.
- At sunset we will be picked up by the classic American cars of the 50's for an elegant tour of the city.
- We will have dinner in a private restaurant.
- At the end of the tour we will visit the Cuban Art Factory (FAC), a great laboratory of interdisciplinary creation that exhibits the best of contemporary Cuban art, with a marked social and community focus. An old oil factory transformed into a generalist space that opens up to the exchange between the diverse artistic manifestations that coexist in the same building. FAC is an artistic project driven by the need to rescue, support, and promote the work of artists from all branches of art: film, music, dance, theater, plastic arts, photography, fashion, graphic design, and architecture. Through the integration art / artist promotes exchange and direct approach between the public and the creator at a mass level. (Entrance fee included).
day 7 HAVANA.
