Description

Salto del Guayabo, paradisiacal paradise nestled in the plateau of Pinares de Mayari, 100 kilometers east of the head municipality of the eastern province of Holguin, this place is a must for observers of birds and endemic plants, which find company in the singing of birds and the musical sound produced by the sound of water hitting the serpentine rock, considered unique in Cuba.

Program:

• Pick up at the hotels. Tour guide in the language.
• Departure to Pinares de Mayarí, located in the Mensura National Park, 680 meters above sea level, with a microclimate inhabited by about 300 endemic species of Cuban flora. On the way to Pinares, stop for photos and contemplation of the landscape with various types of mountain vegetation, Nipe Bay, one of the largest bays in the world with 25.9 kilometers long and 16.8 kilometers wide.
• Visit to Salto del Guayabo with welcome coffee where you will be able to contemplate from a viewpoint the natural waterfalls with a fall of 85 and 106 meters respectively, at an elevation of 560 meters above sea level. You will have the opportunity to practice hiking, ending in a natural pool very cozy for its characteristics and surrounding landscape, inviting you to take a bath or take the ecological trail of 1200 meters to the fall of the waterfall.
• Creole lunch at the local restaurant.
• Return to the hotels.
