“El Nicho - Trinidad Overnight“ Tour

Description

El Nicho is a wonder of nature, dozens of waterfalls and natural ponds in a practically virgin spot, hidden among the mountains. Located in the province of Cienfuegos. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Cuba. It is a nesting site for flamingos and other sea birds, there are aboriginal remains, it is home to legends of corsairs and pirates and it is also where the Martín Infierno Cave is located, a National Monument and possessor of the largest stalagmite in Latin America with a height of 67 meters.

Trinidad, one of the most beautiful, historic and best preserved cities in Cuba was one of the first Villas founded by the Spanish and declared by UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We propose a tour through its cobblestone streets full of tradition and history. You will feel and live the experience of being in a city stopped by time, full of patrimonial, historical and cultural values that reveal epochs, customs and traditions.

Program:

1st Day:

• Coach pick up at the hotels.
• The inclusion of a tour guide.
• In route. stop over at Snack Bar “Fiesta Campesina” (15 min).
• Visit Santa Clara city: Che Guevara Square, Armored Train Monument.
• Lunch in a restaurant in Santa Clara city.
• Continuation of the trip to Trinidad (via Sancti Spíritus).
• Tour of the Trinidad city center: Plaza Mayor, Church, Museum, Casa del Alfarero, Handicraft market. Visit La Canchánchara with a tasting of a typical cocktail.
• Accommodation and dinner at a hotel in Trinidad.

2nd day:

• Breakfast at the Hotel,
• Tour through the Escambray Mountains from Trinidad to the Nicho,
• Tour of the Natural Park: trails, waterfall, natural pools, free time for swimming. Lunch included,
• Departure to Cienfuegos,
• Tour in transit through the city: Prado, Park, Palacio de Valle, with free time for photos in the park,
• Return to hotels with transit stop (15 min)
