Description:.

The Valle de los Ingenios was the largest sugar region in Cuba during the XVII and XIX centuries, the causes were due to the favorable natural conditions, its fertile lands or ports available for shipment. It is composed of three different valleys - Meyer, San Luis and Santa Rosa. This region of the country extends over 100 square miles and contains more than 75 old sugar mills.

Program

• Pick up by Jeep, including guide service.
• Stop at the Mirador del Valle de los Ingenios with welcome cocktail, where you can enjoy an optional Canopy session and observe from the heights beautiful views of the San Luis Valley, the Escambray Mountains and the Caribbean Sea.
• Visit to the San Isidro de los Destiladeros center, one of the most important 18th and 19th century manufacturing complexes in Cuba and Latin America.
• Visit to the Manaca - Iznaga hacienda with explanation of the site and where you can optionally enjoy a Creole lunch.
• Return to the city to visit the Casa del Alfarero where the best of Trinidadian pottery is displayed.
