Description
El Nicho is a wonder of nature, dozens of waterfalls and natural ponds in a practically virgin spot, hidden among the mountains. Located in the province of Cienfuegos. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Cuba. It is a nesting site for flamingos and other sea birds, there are aboriginal remains, it is home to legends of corsairs and pirates and it is also where the Martín Infierno Cave is located, a National Monument and possessor of the largest stalagmite in Latin America with a height of 67 meters.
Program:
- Pick up at the hotels in the Ancon or Trinidad peninsula.
- Tour to El Nicho through the tropical forests and coffee plantations of the region, welcome cocktail.
- Walk along an ecological trail, accompanied by the guide (100m).
- Time to swim in the natural pools.
- Creole lunch (optional).
- Return to the city.
TIPS: • Recommended: light clothing, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes, solar protection and photographic camera. • For the tour we recommend a water bottle.
