The community of Las Terrazas is located in the Sierra del Rosario, province of Artemisa, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1985. When you arrive, you are surrounded by evergreen forests, rivers and waterfalls with crystal clear water, fresh breezes and birds singing, a rural environment that invites you to enjoy nature tourism.

Las Terrazas Tourist Complex is located 2.4 miles north of Km. 51 of the National Highway, just 45 minutes west of Havana.

This was one of the first coffee settlements in the country in the 19th century. The history of coffee cultivation is one of the main attractions for customers at the Buenavista restaurant, built on the ruins of the coffee farm of the same name, founded by the French.

The complement for leisure is found in a whole infrastructure that aims to integrate tourism with the community, as is the case of the "Fonda de las Mercedes", conceived as an attraction that facilitates the interaction of visitors with a local family and the rescue of traditional Cuban culinary culture.
