Description
Camagüey, known as the city of the tinajones, is a city full of traditions and culture, with a perfectly preserved historic and colonial center that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008. It was founded in 1515 by Diego Velázquez, it is famous for the crisscrossing of its streets and alleys, its system of squares and small squares and the complex of religious buildings, the most numerous in Cuba.
Program:
- Pick up from hotels, crossing the Sierra de Cubitas.
- Visit to the Ecological Reserve Limones Tuabaquey and enjoy the path Paso de los Paredones.
- Arrival to the city of Tinajones: Camagüey, visit to the historic center, which is a National Monument and Cultural Heritage of Humanity declared by UNESCO in 2008.
- Lunch at a restaurant in the historic center.
