Nature Tour "La Redonda Lagoon"
Description
La Redonda Lagoon. Located 8 km north of the city of Morón, surrounded by mangroves and various canals that feed it. It occupies an area of 5 km² and is a favorite place for big largemouth bass fishermen. The average weight of bass caught here is seven kilos, but some 1,500 largemouth bass weighing 10 pounds each have been caught here. In its depths there is a rich fauna, integrated, among other species, by white mullets, manatees, jicoteas, crocodiles, eels, cuberas and Creole biajacas, species that, according to archaeologists, served as food for the aboriginal population.
