Come with us to discover a charming port city full of myths and legends, which in the 18th century became the second walled city of the island and the main access by sea to the entire northern part of eastern Cuba.

Programme Day 1 - 8.00 am Departure from Santiago de Cuba by jeep to the province of Holguin, an extraordinary land that made Admiral Christopher Columbus exclaim in 1492 "This is the most beautiful land that human eyes have ever seen". During the 185 km trip to the city of Gibara the visitor will receive information about the different villages, the Cuban rural life, its way of life and interesting stories. Including a panoramic tour through the city of Holguin. - Lunch. - Check in Hotel Iberostar. CP Plan. - Speleotourism Activity: Visit to the spectacular Cueva de los Panaderos (Bakers Cave) where a specialized professional will provide the required equipment and the visitor will observe the different karst formations and local endemic species. If the visitor wishes, he/she can take a refreshing bath. - Free night including dinner.

Day 2 - Breakfast, check out. - Visit to the Caletones Ecological Reserve and walk along the trail. Enjoy a swim in Tanque Azul, a karst formation with an interior lake known as a cenote and/or in Playa Caletones. - Lunch in a private restaurant. - Return to Santiago de Cuba.

TIPS: • Recommended: light clothing, swimsuit, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes and photographic camera. • For the tour we recommend a water bottle.
