The Hotel Encanto Louvre is a boutique hotel with a privileged location in the historic center of the city of Matanzas. This emblematic building, an architectural jewel from the end of the 19th century, was the pride of the "Athens of Cuba", since Matanzas was named during its successful period as the capital of Cuban culture. It was during this period of economic wealth, when the local sugar and coffee barons acquired enormous profits and collected extraordinary fortunes, that the Louvre was born, which in time became a national and international reference for those visiting Matanzas. The Louvre was characterized in its time by its luxury, good taste and the exquisiteness of its services. Thanks to careful renovation, the marble floors of the Hotel, Limoges porcelain, great sculptures, paintings and furniture are experiencing a new life.
