"Hemingway Tour"

Description

Ernest Hemingway lived much of his life in the Cuban capital, which inspired some of his most famous novels. During his stay in Havana he frequented many places that became indispensable in his life and were marked by his imprint.

Our proposal is to tour Hemingway's Havana, to visit those magical places that made his imagination fly. This half-day tour will allow you to see Hemingway's favorite places in the center and outside the city.
We will visit La Bodeguita del Medio where the writer liked to drink mojitos, this is one of the most recognized Cuban restaurants worldwide either for its exquisite traditional Creole food as for the originality of its decoration. Another place of obliged visit is the restaurant-bar El Floridita in which Hemingway, tasted his favorite drink the Daiquiri.

We will visit the room located in the Ambos Mundos Hotel where the famous writer lived for about 10 years and wrote one of his most famous novels, "For Whom the Bell Tolls".

We also suggest you visit Finca-Museo Vigía, where the writer lived and worked until the end of his days. You will discover here a house full of memories and absorb all the creative atmosphere of this literary genius.

• Visit to the bar-restaurant Floridita and Bodeguita del Medio, places that the writer used to frequent.

• Lunch at Hotel Ambos Mundos' terrace restaurant or at Las Terrazas de Cojímar (depending on availability).
