“Hemingway Route” Tour

Description

Ernest Hemingway lived most of his life in the Cuban capital, which served as inspiration for some of his most famous novels. During his stay in Havana he frequented many places that became indispensable in his life and were marked by his imprint.

Our proposal is to tour Hemingway's Havana, to visit those magical places that made his imagination fly. This half-day tour will allow you to visit Hemingway's favorite places in the center and outskirts of the city.

Program:

• Hotel pick up.
• Guided visit to the Hemingway Museum, the writer's former residence, located in the town of San Francisco de Paula.
• Tour of the facility with a specialized guide, where you will appreciate his personal objects, hunting trophies and the room where he used to write, as well as his memories of fishing and life in Cuba.
• Continuation of the trip to the town of Cojímar, a fishing village where Hemingway celebrated his Pulitzer Prize in 1953, with his friends and Gregorio, his boat captain, who served as inspiration for his novel "The Old Man and the Sea".
• Transit visit to the Bodeguita del Medio.
• Stop at the Floridita with cocktail (Daiquiri) included.
• Lunch at one of the facilities linked to his life and work.
• Visit to the museum room of the Ambos Mundos Hotel, chosen by Hemingway to stay in Havana.
• At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.
