Description

Havana, is a city without equal, full of charm and it makes all those who visit it fall in love. To visit Havana is to feel that mixture of the old with the new, is to discover its history of several centuries, is to feel the joy, to know the customs and traditions of the Cubans, is without a doubt a great experience.

In one day, we will explore the beauties and peculiarities of Havana, we will visit the places where the history, culture, customs, traditions and lifestyle of the capital's people are found, we will visit the highlights of the Cuban capital, as well as other less known wonders. Get to know the real Havana, the classic and the modern, and experience why you are in the Wonder City.

Details of the tour

• Departure from the meeting point.
• We begin our tour of Old Havana.
• In transit we will pass by the Callejón de Hamel, a place that smells, sounds, tastes and looks like Afro-Cuban culture.
• We will stop at La Guarida restaurant, one of the most recognized in Havana, which was the location for the filming of the famous Cuban movie Strawberry and Chocolate, nominated for an Oscar (1993)
• We continue the tour around the Capitol, the Gran Teatro de La Habana and the Central Park.
• Arrival to Old Havana, tour of the Casa del Perfume and the Castillo de la Real Fuerza.
• At some points we will walk, together with our e-bikes, through some historical places in this area of the city of special relevance, due to the existence of narrow alleys, generally very crowded.
• We will visit the 4 most important squares of the historical center: Plaza Vieja, Plaza de San Francisco de Asís, Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza de Armas.
• We continue the tour by the Paseo del Prado.
• Lunch in the area
• We will go along the Malecón, and at the height of the impressive Hotel Nacional de Cuba, we will enter the elegant residential neighborhood of Vedado, with its very varied architecture.
• We will pedal along the busy 23rd street, up to Paseo Avenue, to reach the Plaza de la Revolución, the scene of numerous events that have marked milestones in Cuban history.
• On our way back to the meeting point of the trip, we will stop for the last time to drink something, perhaps a cocktail, a beer or a water, while we exchange about the impressions obtained during this day.

• Technical assistance: The circuit will have technical assistance during the whole tour as well as trained personnel to attend to any eventuality that may occur during the course.

Important Notes:

• You should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
• At the meeting point, we will give a brief introduction to the electric bicycles, the settings of the clients' bicycles at each individual height and some general information about the roads and traffic regulations in Cuba.
• All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.
• The program is subject to change. Visits to museums depend on opening hours. Modifications/changes possible, depending on the opening hours of the museums.
• The guest should have a good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
• Guests should be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers.
• There is no minimum age for children, only a minimum height of 1.40 m
• For the bikers of the future we have trailer seats/trolleys. Maximum weight: 25 kg. The number of seats/trolleys is limited and will always be "on request".
• Sex of the person: female/male (including information, if any, about any special characteristics regarding the person's height, weight, or any disabilities).

TIPS: - It is recommended to wear light clothing, sneakers, closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and appropriate for walking outdoors, sun protection, sunglasses. Rain can be expected at any time.
