- This is a collective tour and operates with a minimum of 5 passengers.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- 7 - 3 days before the start of the excursion: 50% of the amount paid will be charged.
- 2 - 1 day before the start of the excursion: penalty of 80% of the amount paid.
- No show or cancellation 24 hours before the start of the tour: 100% of the amount paid.
"Footsteps of Hemingway" Bike Tour
Description
Ernest Hemingway lived much of his life in the Cuban capital, which served as inspiration for some of his most famous novels. During his stay in Havana he frequented many places that became indispensable in his life and were marked by his imprint. Our proposal is to tour Hemingway's Havana, to visit the writer's favorite places, those magical places that made his imagination fly.
Details of the tour
- Departure from the meeting point.
- We will visit the places frequented by the writer and that served as inspiration for several of his novels.
- First stop: Hotel Ambos Mundos, where he lived during his first stay in Havana. Here he wrote Fishing Chronicles and the first chapters of the novel For Whom the Bell Tolls. The room that Hemingway always occupied has been converted into a small museum about the writer's life.
- Visit to the Finca Vigia on the outskirts of the city, his place of residence in Cuba from 1940 until his death in 1961. You will discover here a house full of memories and absorb all the creative atmosphere of this literary genius.
- Then we will travel towards Cojímar, a fishing village east of the city, where he developed his love for the sport of fishing and it is here that the famous writer set his most famous novel: The Old Man and the Sea.
- At La Terraza de Cojímar, one of his favorite restaurants, we will enjoy the sea views and taste one or two delicious cocktails.
- Refreshments in the Bavarian Garden, after lunch we leave for the city.
- We will transit through the Panamerican Village and stop at the Morro Fortress, a place that offers magnificent views of Havana and its Bay.
- We take the boat (Ferry) back that will take us to the other side of the Bay.
- We will finish the day at the famous bar, "Bodeguita del Medio", a place frequented by the writer where he tasted the famous Cuban Mojito. Here you can enjoy this cocktail while enjoying live music.
- Return to the meeting point.

Important Notes:
- You should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
- At the meeting point, we will give a brief introduction to the electric bicycles, the settings of the clients' bicycles at each individual height and some general information about the roads and traffic regulations in Cuba.
- All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.
- The program is subject to change. Visits to museums depend on opening hours. Modifications/changes possible, depending on the opening hours of the museums.
- The guest should have a good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
- Guests should be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers.
- There is no minimum age for children, only a minimum height of 1.40 m
- For the bikers of the future we have trailer seats/trolleys. Maximum weight: 25 kg. The number of seats/trolleys is limited and will always be "on request".
- Sex of the person: female/male (including information, if any, about any special characteristics regarding the person's height, weight, or any disabilities)
TIPS: - It is recommended to wear light clothing, sneakers, closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and appropriate for walking outdoors, sun protection, sunglasses. Rain can be expected at any time.
