"Let's go to the beach!" Bike Tour

Description

Let's escape from the extravagant urban life of the capital and enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean Sea that bathes the Cuban coast in all its extension. With our e-bikes we will travel along the malecon, cross the bay, go through country villages until we reach these beaches of white sand and turquoise waters that invite a day of rest in this tropical paradise.

Details of the route

• Departure from the meeting point towards the Eastern Beaches, these are a group of beaches that have different names, but could be considered as one called Blue Circuit.
• We will take the cyclobus or the ferry to cross to the other side of the Bay, since it is not allowed to pass through the tunnel of bicycles or motorcycles.
• From the town of Regla we will continue our journey towards the Eastern Beaches, passing through picturesque country villages, full of friendly and happy people.
• Depending on the speed at which we travel, we will decide whether to take a bath in Santa Maria del Mar or Guanabo.
• Free time to enjoy the beach.
• For lunch, you can enjoy seafood or typical Cuban food.
• At the end we will go back to Havana, passing through Tarará, Alamar, Cojímar and Casablanca.

The tour includes

• Guide (English, German or Spanish - other languages on request)

• Padlock and Helmet
• 1 bottle of water (500 ml).
• Lunch with 2 drinks.
• Technical assistance: The circuit will have technical assistance throughout the tour as well as trained personnel to attend to any eventuality that occurs during the course.

Important Notes:

• You should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
• At the meeting point, we will give a brief introduction to the electric bicycles, the settings of the clients' bicycles at each individual height and some general information about the roads and traffic regulations in Cuba.
• All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.
• The program is subject to change. Visits to museums depend on opening hours. Modifications/changes possible, depending on the opening hours of the museums.
• The guest should have a good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
• Guests should be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers.
• There is no minimum age for children, only a minimum height of 1.40 m
• For the bikers of the future we have trailer seats/trolleys. Maximum weight: 25 kg. The number of seats/trolleys is limited and will always be "on request".
• Sex of the person: female/male (including information, if any, about any special characteristics regarding the person's height, weight, or any disabilities)

TIPS: - It is recommended to wear light clothing, sneakers, closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and appropriate for walking outdoors, sun protection, sunglasses, swimming suit. Rain can be expected at any time.
