Description

National Zoo, an environmental recreational facility that exhibits animals of the native fauna and from other continents. It is built according to modern techniques for these centers. It is a zoo where animals are observed in apparent freedom, both in meadows, pits and large enclosures. Conditions similar to those in their natural habitat are imitated. The animals are observed by the public from buses that circulate through its internal roads and also from the viewpoints that are in the premises.

Equestrian Center, a facility equipped to show visitors the skills of the horses that are trained there, as well as to hold the usual International Elite Jumping Horse Auction. The center has capacity for more than 115 stabled equines, and has trained personnel and the best riders in Cuba. It also has a comfortable country motel, a store selling equestrian articles and a gastronomic complex serving typical Cuban food.

The Garden exhibits a representation of the Cuban flora and of the rest of the tropics of the planet. It has different vegetal formations that can be found in Cuba such as the Júcaros and Palmas Pinares Savannahs, the vegetation of Mogotes, Monte Seco and Coastal Manigua. It also has a Japanese Garden.
