- This tour operates with no minimum number of passengers. The Agency will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your excursion. If the supplier decides to cancel, due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, the Agency will offer you an alternative excursion or will fully reimburse the cost of your excursion.
- Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, please print the voucher to present to your tour guide.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to the time of enjoyment of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion price will be applied.
- For cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours prior to the excursion departure time, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fee will be applied.
- Please note that cancellation within 24 hours and up to the time of enjoyment of the excursion, and in case of no-show, 100% of the excursion price will be deducted.
- Note: administrative costs and credit card fees cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
"Altiplano of Tope de Collante" (Caburní or Vegas Grandes Natural Park)
Description:
The Topes de Collantes Natural Park is the ideal place for nature lovers. It is located in the center of Cuba, in the Sierra del Escambray and 800 meters above sea level. It is a group of mountains, rivers, valleys and caves in their natural state. Due to the large number of endemic species, its beautiful waterfalls and cascades and an ideal microclimate for the flourishing of trees and various fruits, this is one of the largest protected natural areas in Cuba.
The Caburní waterfall invites you to enter its crystalline spring waters. The waterfall is 62 feet high and splashes into natural pools, where hikers can swim and refresh themselves.
Program
- Pick up at Plaza Céspedes and departure to the Topes de Collantes Natural Park.
- Local guide service (Spanish, English).
- Stop at the Mirador del Caribe and the village of Topes de Collantes. General explanation of the guide about the history and importance of the place.
- Taste a delicious Creole coffee while enjoying the excellent scenery.
- Guided walk along the trail to Salto del Caburní.
- Free time to swim in the natural pool.
- Lunch at "Mi Retiro" restaurant.
- Return to the hotel.
